Dear friends,

Now in my junior year of college at UNCG, I've been able to see how the Lord is faithful in all seasons of life. This year has been both challenging and life giving and I appreciate so much the people that have been placed around me and the opportunities made available. This summer I have the incredible opportunity to participate in an eight week discipleship program called City Project at my church in Greensboro, Mercy Hill Church. This program introduces college students to different missional opportunities and begins to train them to be disciples who make disciples for Christ. City Project begins with the students going to New York City to engage with Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Buddhist people groups. Then in the middle of the summer, students will live in Greensboro where they will be receiving practical, theological, and ministry training through weekly talks. During this time the students will learn to effectively share the gospel and serve the community of Greensboro, NC in response to the gospel through internships with local ministries and organizations in Greensboro. During the last two weeks of the summer, the students and I will get to travel abroad to serve in an international context alongside of Mercy Hill Church Planters.

This summer I will have the opportunity be poured into, trained, and pushed out of my comfort to help spread the name of Jesus locally, nationally, and internationally, and to make disciples that make more disciples. I would like to challenge you to consider investing in the spiritual growth of college students through prayer and financial support. Honestly you might be asking, "why do this Austin?", and it is because the gospel has completely changed my life. God has loved me so much he sent His own son to die for me, giving eternal new life connected to Him. And this fact alone pushes me to go, to tell, to make disciples who make disciples. So I'd ask you to consider joining my support team and partnering with me to spread the good news of Jesus.

I would love your financial support and pray you will give generously. The biggest part of my support is due by May 22, 2017. If you can assist me financially (amounts of $50, $100, $200, or any other amount you are able to contribute), checks should be made payable to Mercy Hill Church. Be sure to enclose the included form with your check. My name should not be written in the memo line of the check. Instead, City Project should be written on the memo line.
