Hey Y'all! My name is Lori Pegram. I major in Business Administration, I am a junior at UNCG, and I work as a Team Leader at Chick-Fil-A.
I've always felt a direct call on my life from God to use my leadership position at work to positively influence those around me with the gospel. This summer, May through July, I will be embarking upon a journey of growth and learning with several other college students from Mercy Hill Church. I will be participating in a program that helps to refine and grow my work skills while showing me how to share my faith in my workplace. I plan to use these skills to one day own my own business in a way that honors God. I believe that my faith follows me through the door of every room I step into and therefore I must learn how to adequately share that faith in my daily vocation. There will be weekly meetings and bi-weekly forums from local business leaders that will grow my knowledge about daily integrating my faith into work. Our group will also be traveling to DC because our leaders recognize that in 2050 it is predicted that 80% of the US population will be living in cities. Therefore, we are going to learn how to specifically live for God and share that faith within large cities.
In order to participate, I must raise $1500 by May 21st. I truly believe God supplies, and the fact that you are even reading this message proves that.
