Connor's Spring Mission Trip to Guatemala

I am excited to announce I have been chosen to join Georgia Southern Cru on their Spring Mission Trip to Guatemala. We will be traveling over spring break to Guatemala to bring clean water filters to rural communities with help from Filter of Hope. Filter of Hope is a nonprofit that, in an effort to raise awareness of the global water crisis, raises funds for water filters that will save the lives of people who live in abject poverty. Over 1.5 million people die each year from drinking contaminated water. We have decided to join this fight to do our part to help provide safe drinking water for many families in hopes that they would see the deeds of Jesus. We will be helping in this fight through bringing water filters to families in need, explaining how to use the filters and sharing the gospel with them through a local translator. We aim to meet not only their physical need for clean water but also their spiritual need for Jesus! I am asking for prayers during the months leading up to this trip for guidance and to open myself to God and allow him to work through me to spread his message.
