Hi all! Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Lauren, and I am a senior at High Point University. I am studying Spanish and am currently work for Wells Fargo, as well as, the Weaver House in Greensboro, North Carolina.  I will be on Campus Outreach's leadership team this upcoming fall and look forward to seeing how God will continue to move on High Point University's campus. God has given me a strong desire to share the Gospel, especially in Spanish speaking countries, and I felt led to go on this trip as a way to experience sharing the Gospel overseas while embracing also a new culture. I will be traveling to the Dominican Republic with Mercy Hill Church on October 13 and be returning October 19. There I will be working alongside local teachers to help mentor at risk youth. I hope to plant seeds in the hearts of these students that I know God will grow in His time. I also hope God will continue to grow my love for the Spanish language and help me grow in my abilities to share the Gospel verbally and through my actions. I am asking for people to partner with me through prayer, or financially. I will be raising $1,850 in support and am looking for people to spend time in prayer for my team, the people we will be interacting with, and for my own heart and walk with Jesus. I am thankful for the opportunity and know God will open doors in the lives of these students. Please be praying over my team for the next couple of months as we prepare to be sent out!
