Hi Friends,
Over the last year, the Lord has been working tremendously in my life. Lately, I have been looking for a way to share the gospel and see His kingdom advance. All throughout this year, I was considering signing up for Mercy Hill City Project. I would hear a lot about City Project from previous students who had participated. Through prayer and encouragement from others, I signed up and have been blessed with the opportunity to partake in City Project this summer. City Project is an eight-week discipleship program that introduces college students to different missional opportunities and begins to train them to be disciples who make additional disciples of Christ. During the first week of City Project, we will spend a week in New York City. While there, we will be engaging with Sikh, Muslim, Hindu, and Buddhist people groups. In the middle of the summer, we will be living in Greensboro. Here, we will receive theological, ministry, and practical training through weekly talks. During this time the group will learn how to effectively share the gospel and serve the community. We will be doing this through internships, with local organizations and ministries in Greensboro, North Carolina. The last two weeks of City Project are dedicated to serving internationally alongside church planters, working to see the Kingdom Advance.

This summer will be a step of faith for me. Again, through prayer and ultimately God’s grace, I have the confidence to pursue this opportunity to grow spiritually and serve by loving others in the community around me. I would like to challenge you to consider investing in other people’s lives through prayer and financial support. God is able to use your prayers and or financial support to help others grow spiritually and expand His kingdom throughout the world this summer.

I will be responsible to raise $4800 in order to participate in this City Project. I would love your financial support and I pray that you will give generously however much you feel called to give. Amounts of $100, $200, $300 (or any amount you are able to contribute) would be greatly appreciated. As you invest in me, you are investing in others. This support will be used to equip me to be sent out as I share the good news of the Gospel. I understand and respect that not everyone is able to give financially, so another way to support me is through your prayers. I know I will not be able to go through this summer on my own. Please join me in praying that God will equip and prepare my heart and mind for this summer. Also, join me in praying that we will continue to rely on and have faith in God this summer as we share the Gospel, serve, and invest in others.

Thank you for prayerfully considering investing in me as I serve God and invest in others this summer! This summer will be powerful for me, as I get to see how God will work in my life and the lives of others around the world.
