Hello Friends and Family,

I am writing to you to let you know some things the Lord has allowed to transpire in my heart. The Lord has really opened my eyes this past year to the beauty of serving Christ, and what it means to faithfully take steps to follow the Father's will and plan for your life. I have come to realize that when you submit to the Father's will, that's the safest place you can be. So no matter where I go or what doors open for me, God will be with me, working in and through me.

I am currently in my third year of teaching. I teach kindergarten and absolutely love it! My students ask the best questions and give the best hugs. At church, I am continuing to serve in children's ministry as well as the young adult singles' ministry. I have been enjoying hanging out with friends and family. I have also been taking some time to brush up on my Spanish.

Over the summer, I will be going on a missions trip to Spain in July with a team from Mercy Hill Church in Greensboro, NC. My team and I will be serving a local church outside of Madrid. We will be organizing and participating in a week-long Vacation Bible School. We hope to connect children and families with the local church through this outreach. We hope that the families will be impacted and become further connected to the local church.

I would like to ask you to be in prayer for the team and me during our time of preparation and on the trip. Pray for us to have unity as a team, and to put forth our best in organizing and serving in the Vacation Bible School. Pray for us to be willing to follow the Holy Spirit's leading, to be faithful to proclaim the gospel, and that the people we encounter will have hearts ready to receive the gospel and encouragement.

Additionally, of course a trip like this requires a financial support. I need to raise $2500. If you would like to support me financially, you can do so by giving online or via check to Mercy Hill Church.
